Built with both the present and the future in mind, this five-room flat creates open, functional spaces for a young couple, yet remains flexible for life’s next chapter. The aim was to create spaces that feel open, inviting, and adaptable, while supporting both daily routines and social gatherings.
The living area sets the tone, effortlessly combining the TV lounge, dining space with a dry pantry, and a kitchen island into a cohesive, functional hub. Neutral tones, warm wood with marble finishes create a serene backdrop, while the TV corner offers a cosy spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The kitchen island naturally draws people together, whether for casual conversation or serving drinks and snacks, while the dry pantry behind the dining area keeps essentials from the coffee machine to curated tableware within easy reach, making entertaining effortless.
Lighter wood tones paired with white laminates brighten the kitchen, while generous countertops provide plenty of space for cooking, meal prep, and casual gatherings. A sliding glass door separates it from the living area, containing cooking smells while still letting natural light stream in, keeping the space airy, welcoming, and connected to the rest of the home.
Two former bedrooms were merged to create a spacious common room that seamlessly blends work and relaxation. At its center, modular sofa beckons for lounging, reading, or catching up with friends, making it a natural hub for conversation. Full-height cabinets and open shelving line the room, keeping it clutter-free while providing space to display personal touches that reflect the homeowners’ style.
