Inspired by the husband’s love for bold printed shirts and the couple’s free-spirited nature, the design embraces a balance of vibrancy and calm. Just beyond the windows, sweeping views of Tanglin became another guiding influence, lending the interiors a touch of resort-like serenity that blurs the line between home and retreat.
The dining area flows seamlessly into the kitchen, tied together by backsplash tiles in earthy tones and subtle patterns. Their understated pattern reflects the home’s Bohemian-inspired character, bringing warmth and personality to daily life.
Drawing inspiration from the lush greenery outside, the master bedroom features a light leaf-print wallpaper that complements the view rather than competing with it. Microcement laminate adds tactile warmth and depth, enhancing the serene, retreat-like atmosphere of the suite.
Even the bathroom was designed with both function and atmosphere in mind. A half-height wall niche provides a neat home for toiletries while gently separating wet and dry zones, keeping the space organised and open. A louvre panel softens the appearance of the window, filtering natural light and allowing gentle ventilation, creating a private retreat that harmonises function with serene comfort.
Every detail in this home invites a sense of calm and ease, creating a retreat-like atmosphere that’s both functional and full of personality.
