To accommodate their twins and a nanny, a loft was added upstairs, increasing the floor area and providing dedicated, functional rooms for everyone. The staircase became a centerpiece of the redesign. Relocated to maximise the double-height ceiling, it features glass railings and sleek Dekton surface steps, keeping the structure light and airy.
Above, the loft study offers a peaceful retreat for the homeowners, with strategically placed windows providing a clear view of the twins below. Microcement laminate continues the neutral palette from the first floor, maintaining a cohesive and calming aesthetic throughout the home.
On the lower floor, the dry and wet kitchens are separated, keeping cooking aromas contained while maintaining a clean and inviting flow throughout the communal spaces. A mobile island adds flexibility for family meals or casual entertaining, ensuring the space adapts to daily life with ease.
In the master bedroom, a two-tiered raised platform was designed to accommodate co-sleeping comfortably, with one tier specifically created for the twins’ mattresses. Warm beige laminates add a soothing, cosy atmosphere, making the room feel inviting for the whole family.
Every corner of this penthouse has been designed with lifestyle in mind. From spaces designed for the twins to areas crafted for quiet work or family meals, the layout follows the family’s routines. It’s a space where functionality, comfort, and daily life intersect seamlessly, a home built to grow and thrive with the family who lives here.
