A haven of vintage charm, this residence mirrors the couple’s love for creativity and curated objects. Painting, writing, and treasured collectibles are woven seamlessly into the home, turning each space into an reflection of their life and interests.

The renovation involved reconfiguring the space to create a cohesive flow while accommodating the couple’s existing furniture. Each piece they chose to keep from their previous home was carefully measured and positioned in its ideal spot to ensure comfort and harmony within the new interiors.

The home also makes room for creativity. One homeowner has a painting corner near the round vintage marble dining table, where art can spill into daily life. The other enjoys a dedicated writing nook beside the living room, with customised cabinetry that neatly conceals a printer, keeping the space calm and focused.

The kitchen continues the marble look, paired with dark wood tones to complement their collection of antiques, creating a space that is at once practical and character-filled.

In the bathroom, thoughtful planning turns a compact footprint into a layered, functional retreat. The basin sits outside, topped with a striking vintage mirror that makes a bold statement while freeing up space inside for showering and the toilet. Within, concealed pipes and a built-in shower niche keep the layout neat and subtly separate wet and dry zones. The hidden pipe wall was cleverly reimagined as a divider, also serving as a convenient spot to hook towels and clothes safely away from splashes. Mosaic tiles complete the look: soft beige tones wrap the walls, dark grey grounds the floor, and playful pops of red in the shower inject an unexpected spark. Together, these touches turn a utilitarian space into one that is vibrant, personal, and quietly inventive.

Every detail, from material choices to furniture placement, celebrates a love for art, vintage treasures, and quiet indulgence, crafting a home that feels both like a sanctuary and a canvas for everyday life.

“We chose Ovon over a few other ID companies because of their detailed quotation and professionalism. Working with Kate during the period of renovation was a positive experience. Project was completed in time as scheduled.”
